I always start my homework when I get to my house because I get stressed if I don't finish "early" (about 7:30 pm) and I want to have some time to watch some TV. I took all of my books out to start my homework and everything. I checked out my agenda to see what homework I had and also the homework e-mail because sometimes there's some more to do that the teacher did not say in school. I got to the English part and I saw that the first thing mentioned was the Slice of Life challenge, so I thought if I should join.
"Can I do a good job, or at least write something everyday?" I thought.
For me, the hardest subject is English. Many people will say it's Math for them, but for me is much more easy than English. The hardest thing for me is writing and reading comprehension (the most basic stuff in English). I know you may think is weird or something, but hey, my native language is Spanish. I know it should be easier for mw to write in English if I know how to speak it and I know how to write in Spanish. I just have to translate it or something, but it is not that easy. I mean, the writing in English is really different from Spanish.
Going back to the challenge, I wasn't sure if I should do it, but then I remembered that when I got my laptop in Christmas I began to write some kind of journal in it. I was excited so I wanted to write all the time. I realized that all that I have written since December 2009 could help me to write this Slice of Life everyday. It is easier than what I thought. I just have to write what happened to me each day like if it was the journal where I write everyday! I will have a chance to practice my writing everyday and just write freely.
