Feeling a Little Sick...

"Are you going to come with me?" my mom asked me.

"Yeah, I guess...Yes," I finally said after thinking it for a little while.

What was I supposed to do the whole afternoon alone? I was really tired of doing nothing at home. My mom worked until 3 o'clock and I woke up "early" today. I had quite a lot of time to do nothing. It was really boring. I decided to watch a movie in the internet. Can you imagine I spent about two hours watching it? It was REALLY slow! I alost finished it because I didn't think of anything else to do. The afternoon was a lot more interesting compared to "all" I did in the morning.

My mom came from work and ate lunch with us. Everything is different with my mom at home. We finished eating and my mom wanted to go to find a place where our silver bowls brought from Indonesia could be polished (my grandma gave it to my dad.) I actually don't like them, but we all say to my dad that is really nice. We don't want to hut his feelings...

So we were going out and my mom took all of us. He left Santiago in his friend's house (Daniel's) so that he could not bother us. He always jumps and asks my mm for water. He is so annoying...We left him there and went to San Francisco. My mom has really good memory so she knows exactly where it was. Her throat hurt so she told me that she preferred to go to the doctor since the place was closed.

We got there and waited for quite a while because the lady was doing some paper work. We were watching TV in the waiting room or however it is called. The doctor finally came and we both followed him. He checked my mom's throat, ears, nose, and lungs. Everything was fine except her throat. She has her tonsils inflamed and the doctor told her she has acute pharyngitis. She didn't have fever, which is good, but she needs some pills to reduce the inflammation. The doctor also gave my mom a shot to make it faster.

I think she felt all right--or at least better--because we talked all the way back to home. (It was about half an hour.) We got home and found my grandma online. She lives in Canada and cannot see her very often. SHe got a computer recently so she's always online. Today we had time to talk to her and she was very excited. My mom forgot about almost all of her pain because she talked normally to my grandma. She is a really nice person. I really miss her...I hope we can see her soon.
