To the Movies!

We were heading to Multiplaza after lunch. My mom said that we were gonna watch "The Blind Side" but my brother thought we were gonna watch "How to Train your Dragon". My mom told him that we were going to decide which movie to watch when we got there. (She was going to buy the tickets for "The Blind Side" and tell Santiago there wasn't any tickets for the movie he wanted.)

We went and bought the tickets for the movie my mom wanted to see. (I also wanted to watch it so I beat my brother, ha!.)My brother complained as I thought, but we kind of convinced him. Not really, we made him watch it. He knew what it was about and told me it was very stupid.

"It is not! It is a really nice story," I replied.

He looked at me and just turn his head. I knew he didn't agree at all.

We bought the tickets but we had to wait for almost an hour so we decided to go to Nike's store. We tried to find some sneakers for my brother, but we didn't like any. He just wanted black, but we didn't. All of his shoes are black! We stayed there for what seemd half an hour. My mom checked the clock and it was time.

We went upstairs to the theaters and went in. Santiago and I always go first and find the seats while my mom buys the popcorn. The movie hadn't started yet so my mom told us--Santiago and I-- to go to the bathroom. We always have to go in the middle of the movie...In the last movie my brother really wanted to go, but my mom wouldn't take him--he had gone already. We had an empty bottle so, believe it or not, he peed on the bottle! It was hillarious. The movie had ended so the lights were turning on. My brother had his pants down! He rapidly pulled them up until someone oculd see him. This is a story that I may writet later, but not right now because I am in the middle of another one.

So we went to the bathroom before the movie. We came back just in time (there were still in the comercials). The movie was awesome and the message was very nice. (If you haven't seen it I recommend it.) My brother ended up liking it, I think, because he kept talking about it. Next week we will watch "How to Train Your Dragon." It seems good too.

  1. I like how you interjected with a different story, but pulled back to the first. It reminded me of CS Lewis.
